Vaejovis spinigeris This here scorpion is the stripetailed scorpion, Vaejovis spinigerus . Its sting is mighty painful, but harmless, like a wasp sting. It is found from SW New Mexico and below the Rim Country in junipers or lower into Sonoran Desert. VERY common through most of its range, especially in Arizona Upland desert.
