Bartelsia Kokopellian

Common Names: Joe, Teva, Daywalker, Snakebait
Habitat: Open deserts and riparian areas, often found on isolated ridgelines
Description: Mysterious figure rarely observed in the wild. Rumored to be able to walk through savage desert vegetation in sandals with nary a scratch. If you should be lucky enough to find footprints, it is likely the elusive Teva is long gone as the creature is thought to be nomadic. Rumored repeat sighting have been reported in South Mountains and Phoenix Mtn Parks.
Comments: Master photographer, HAZ founder, recommended methods to elude a teva require rappelling or technical climbing.
