After a record 5 hours sleep on the last trip I was back down to 2 hours on this trip after a 2-week hiatus.

My first mini 4 day vacation in decades turned into a coding marathon when it rained every freaking day 2 weeks ago. Bruce was game for a Humphrey's hike last week and I didn't want him developing a complex that I was ignoring him.

Still couldn't move the needle on quicker but this was by far the best I felt on the final 10 miles!

It was borderline cold to start at 48°. I was sweating pretty good after a couple miles. A short stretch at the top was cold. Must have been a tiny pocket because it seemed to be warmer a minute or two later. 98% of the hike was about the best hiking weather imaginable.
