I was in keep moving mode but had to stop because I didn't take a photo of this on the last trip. At work one day, I tried to use one of the AIs to identify because I'd stumbled across it once before. AI is pretty good with a clue.

Apparently I wasn't explaining it well because it insisted that it was either garlic, chain fruit cholla fruit, scrub oak wasp gall, apache plume or fairy duster.
