Smaller ATVs and motorcycles had been going through here but I didn't want to try it in my FJ Cruiser. Risk versus reward was just a little too high. That's loose gravel on top of bare rock. I could envision my FJ sliding sideways and tipping over on its side in the creek bottom. This plus the narrow crossing of the creek convinced me to turn around and head for one of my favorite campsites up on top at the Billy Lawrence TH.
