This was what I got to drive through for my time on the Blue Ridge Parkway; pretty colorful... I am in-between Pine Mountain Tunnel on my way to the Bad Fork Valley Overlook on the left side of the road. Most of the Overlooks are on the left side of the road. I am going east to west.

The Blue Ridge Parkways is the nation’s most visited National Park Service unit, with 14+ million visitors in 2020. Took 52 years to complete. Maximum 45 mph speed limit.
