lots of activity between kids of all ages jumping off the bridge. I will be seeing something similar on my hike to St Mary Falls in Glacier Park; a lot taller bridge though and a much more briskly running river.

This bridge is an integral part of the Whitefish Bike and Pedestrian Trail, a recreational trail which runs through much of central Whitefish. The bridge is of the Pratt Truss type and arched to a degree, the structural part being constructed of welded square steel tubing. It has wood decking and is graced with stone end posts at either end and massive wooden handrails.
