Price of average wheat prices: 1960 $1.95, 1970 $1.53, 1980 $4.56, 1990 $3.18, 2000 $2.60, 2005 $3.21, 2010 $5.87, 2015 $5.08, 2020 $5.49, 2021 $7.04, 2022 $9.59. FYI It's been as high as $12.94 (Ukraine). And needless to say, since Covid, cost of production is way up.
