I'm on the top of the hill making my way around to the old elevator. Along the way, it's equipment row. Here are just a few pieces:
Top: Seeder Drill (press wheel, double?) Seed Drills Mounted Disc is a mounted type sowing machine which can precisely and properly sow every kind of grain seeds (wheat, barley, rye, rapeseed, oats, peas, soybeans, alfalfa) on the row. Do people still use the seed drill?
This system is still used today but has been updated and modified over time in many aspects; the most visible example being very wide machines with which one farmer can plant many rows of seed at the same time.

Bottom left: combine and header - An average combine will be covering 150 acres in a day. The combine harvesters are manufactured by embedding the latest technology. This serves as the main reason for increasing crop productivity. In other words, this ain't your daddy's combine anymore. This is one of my most popular videos (over 12,000 views) that I made of the home movies shot in the 50s of harvest and includes putting in a well (long before OSHA came into the picture and if you see the video, you will understand) [ youtube video ]
Bottom right: swather - A swather (North America), or windrower (Australia and rest of world), is a farm implement that cuts hay or small grain crops and forms them into a windrow for drying.
