Quite the stretch of granite boulders here. I don't know about you but I'm thinking, we're real close to that fault and you have to wonder during the next earthquake how much of these stranded boulders will topple. July 22, 2019 At 9:26 am, the United States Geological Survey reported a 4.2 magnitude earthquake about 10 miles (16 km) from Twentynine Palms, CA. The earthquake was centered in Joshua Tree National Park near Live Oak.
