Some more of the flora on this side of the hike with Scorpionweed, Purple Mat (pink flower that turns purple when the flower is done and if you look closely the interior of the flower is purple), Poppies and Desert Pincushions (there are a couple varieties).

Interestingly, those poppies are Joshua Tree Poppies: apparently a new poppy as of 2014 https://ucnrs.org/mojave-desert-yields-two-new-poppies/
