A road, I mean lake block. Actually we'll be heading over to a dock and then walk across the little pass over to the other side to catch the boat at Lake Josephine. A person can also walk from Many Glacier Hotel to Grinnell Lake (3.5 miles or so) and/or you can walk from the Lake Josephine dock too but if you've paid the money for the boat ride, enjoy.
