The long meadow in Merritt Draw. This was our second attempt to visit the meadow during our stay. On our first attempt we hiked a 2 mile loop to reach this meadow but the two littles claimed to be tired before we got there. So we took a shortcut over the ridge back to camp where they promptly left with their dad for a 2 hour hike to look for elk. With them, "I'm tired" actually means "I'm bored". On our second attempt to reach this meadow we took the 0.4 mile over the ridge shortcut from camp.
