When we got to Lake McDonald to check out the rental place we got to see the Sprague Fire along Snider Ridge below Edwards. You can see Little Mattherhorn to the left which is above Avalanche Lake. It started the nite we were up at Boulder Pass campground (Aug 10th) when it blew through with such a fury.
