| no partners | | | It was raining quite a bit this morning. We left when it stopped in hopes of getting there and back before it could start up again. Fortunately (and unfortunately), the rain was completely over. We spent a short while at Petroglyph Plaza, but soon rushed to the waterfall. The cliffs up ahead looked pretty big, and the clouds made every picture that much better. Our excitement grew a bit when we noticed the water was flowing over the stairs leading up to the falls. After trying to balance on rocks, I made the decision that it was better to just walk knee-deep in the water instead of falling from trying to stay dry. I got as close to the falls as I could before the chicken in me realized I couldn't go any further. |
