First trip to the Mazatzals was a dandy on the namesake peak loop. We went up Barnhart, ooh-ing and aah-ing all the way. The Divide trail is just fabulous. Y-Bar is in pretty rough shape in some places, with tons of downed trees in the middle section. I was surprised by the flowers all along the hike.

We saw a massive centipede that is still giving me the heeby-jeeby's and a couple of huge jackrabbits.

Weather was perfect, as was the company for another great hike. Polished the day off with some tasty tacos.
