| no partners | | | Did this loop hike to Mystic Falls and a nice overlook of the whole Midway Geyser Basin and beyond. While listed as shorter (70ft) than fairy falls (200ft), we enjoyed these falls so much more. Perhaps the footage only includes the lower portion. Taken as a whole, this was definitely a nicer hike. Add in the views from the overlook and it can't get much better for a short day hike. You can even see Old Faithful from the overlook! |
