I was here in August when it was very hot. It's a cute little place, but the presence of bees kept them from opening the lower cliff dwelling. Instead, you have to be content with standing about fifty feet in front of it and using binoculars to scout for anything of detail. After I got my eyefull I wandered back down the trail and photgraphed some butterflies. Then I drove up the road to where the Apache Trail ends and had lunch at the picnic area overlooking Roosevelt Bridge. |
