| no partners | | Got to the Grand Canyon Village about 9pm Thursday, no one was collecting entry fees - lucky me. Slept in the car and took the 5am Hikers Shuttle to South Kaibab TH. The bus was full of people, packed with hikers. It was 37F, nice and cold... great day for hiking. Going down was easy got to the river about 7:30am. By the time I left the Indian Garden the temperatures reached close to 80F. The trail up was tough, it was hot but beautiful, worth every step. Got to the top right after 1pm. Got home about 6pm, just on time for dinner. It was a kinda crazy day.
