I couldn't sleep, so I decided to go on a midnight stroll in Fountain Hills. I started out at Dixie Mine Trail and then explored the dry washes between the trailhead and Dixie Mine to look for any reptiles to photograph. I ended up seeing 2 gila monsters and a lyre snake. There was also a javelina in Dixie Mine. The mine is barred up, so I have no idea how it go in there. It was worth the $2 fee. :)
