One of the trails is at the base of Frye Mesa and today I decided to check it out. I quickly completed & enjoyed this nicely built, but very short (.5 m) trail that took me through some classic Sonoran desert habitat. Back at the parking area, I then headed up to the top of the nearby mesa along an old jeep road and took it down to Hawk Hollow tank and back ending a very nice afternoon on a newly discovered trail. I would bet that 999 out of 1000 people that drive up this road have no idea that this nice little trail even exists, I didn't! |
