| no partners | | Started out with the N. Side Trails 316 - 317 (Loop). Then headed up 318 and took the first spur trail to right ("Fireplace" trail). This trails turns into 332... Followed this route until I crossed Thumb Butte Rd. (Country Road 66). On my right, I directly head off onto 392 and take this until I reach a cross section of trail heads. Instead of heading left on 326 - usual route down to the bottom of the butte, I decide to go straight onto trail 322. I travel 322 until reaching 327 and go East. This is just a short skip to trail 321 and head North. After about a mile, I reach trail head 323. 323 leads me back onto trail 326. (These extra trails, beginning at 322 make about a 2.8 mile extra loop) Again, reaching 326 and heading North takes me right back down to the main parking area.
- It was a great end to the Thanksgiving weekend. The weather could not have been any more perfect. Even though it is pretty quite out on these trails... I did see more folks out than I ever have in these areas. I did get myself a new camera, and enjoyed snapping away. Maybe I will go ahead and upload some of these pics to this site.. (I'll see) Got a bit of video too!!! - 
If in the Prescott area, these trails are a nice place to visit... So close to the city, yet very serene, peaceful, and pretty!  |
