| no partners | | Had this scheduled for Sunday but called it off due to rain. VERY foggy with low clouds today and at times, we only had about 50 feet of visibility. Id been to the top and seen the view so not a big deal. Interesting how much easier the climb up the face of the mesa was when you could not see where you were going or see the top until you were almost at it. One thing I will do again is carry a dry change of shirts as I was wet from the climb and putting on dry clothes was wonderful. Got a 7 AM start and actually had to wait in the trail head parking lot for it to get light enough to get started.
We headed out Spur Cross trail and at the mile mark took the unmarked trail 247A until it hit the 248 junction. Came back the same way.
