With Lynn and our Springer Spaniel puppy "Skippy" on a Sunday afternoon hike at sundown. Surprized that the parking lot a Desert Foothills Parkway was full after I placed the F-150 into that last open spot! Skippy met lots of friendly dogs along the route to the top. Had a long rest at the park benches near the saddle where Telegraph Pass meets the National and Kiwanis Trails. This is the longest hike the pup has been on and seemed ready for more when he returned to the truck. Can start planning those longer hikes with the dog!
