I'm backlogging some trips to this great site. This was my first hike across Pinnacle Peak. The first landing (I believe near sign for highest elevation on trail) actually will get your heart racing. As the tear down into the inner rim you get great views of the Anthem area and toward Camelback. Pretty disappointing finish on the other end. It is understandable why they didn't make this a peak trail (without gear).
