| no partners | | It was a clear, slightly breezy and cool temp day for an after-work photo hike.... well as it turned out, not a photo hike. What a non-bloomin', very little wildflower hike this was. Gosh, I had to push it to get any kind of wildflower/bush photos. I guess it just didn't get cold enough this year for just a moderate wildflower season; even most of the fiddleneck was done already.
I still like this trail for a quick after-work work out but after 5, it gets really crowded. The association really does a wonderful job with trail maintenance considering its heavy usage.
When the trail lot fills, there is parking on the road just before the park entrance... and I am not jealous or have class envy (well okay a little jealous), but you should have seen the types of vehicles... every vehicle was like a Cadillac, Lexus, Mercedes, Jaguar, Infinity, etc. It was a uniquely interesting site to behold.  |
