The trailhead is good to reach. Even with my sedan I had no problems to get there.
The trail itself is sometimes quite hard to find because some bushes grew on the trail and burnt trees fell over it. It seems as only very few people hiked that trail in the last months. Several times I thought about returning when every now and then I encountered a pile of stones again, that reassured me to be on the right way. Once I took the very direct and steep part of a slope because I could not find the trail. Fortunately I hit the trail again after some rough sections offtrail.
Above about 6000 feet the area looked burned where the trail becomes flatter. There is hardly any tree left. The last 1000 feet off-trail to the peak are not too bad because the fire burnt most of the bushes on the steep part of the slope. The last quarter of a mile to the summit is a fair amount of bushwhacking but not too bad.
In many places, mainly at the lower parts of the hike, the trail is quite washed out and not very good to use. It took me 2 hours and 20 minutes to reach the summit and another 2 hours to get down again. The trail is easier to find on the descent.
