. Also found a shabby snake skin that had been there a little while. Left the pond headed east toward 56st bridge. On the way I checked a possible Coyote den for sign. It looked like something had moved the loose granite around since last time I looked. Got too the bridge and Inspected a Great Horned Owl nest that I've been watching for a couple years. No one was home. Lots of Coyote, Javelina, rabbit and other small mammal tracks under the bridge. Left the bridge going South East toward Scottsdale rd where I found a nice example of a Crusifiction Thorn bush. Had to go to work at noon so I headed back to the trail head at Tatum.
