| no partners | | I did the Little Jim Loop trail this morning. 41 degrees at the trail head when I started, brrrr. I hiked it counter-clockwise which provided nice views of Lake Pleasant on the return to the trailhead. The trail was very easy to follow up to the Little Jim shortcut and became faint up to reconnecting with the Walking Jim Trail, where, surprisingly, it remained faint all the way back to the trailhead. Saw two coyotes first thing and then a burro watching me from a ridge about 2 miles in. I really enjoyed the hike, but was a little bummed that it didn't cross any of the nearby peaks and ridgelines. I would definitely do it again! |
