| no partners | | From my first trip to Joshua Trees National Park in California, I recall the Park Ranger informing some visitors that they won't find the U2 Joshua tree in JOTR because the photo was actually shot in Arizona.
I had that filed away as a future trek to find the Joshua tree in AZ. A little research proved the Ranger correct that the photo shoot wasn't in JOTR, but was incorrect in crediting Arizona as the location.
Still curious as to why the Joshua Forest area is a "black hole" on HAZ, I wanted to explore. I think a future trek into the Arrastra Mountain Wilderness may be on the "to do" list...  |
