On our first full day of our first visit to the Islands we made our way over the 5 mile dirt road to Polihale Beach. Fierce windy conditions whipped up the dunes sand blasting my legs a bit but also giving us a chance to watch some kite surfers. The Na Pali Coast cliffs provided a stark contrast and an end-of-the-world feel to this place.
