Day 4 of my trip started at Joshua Tree Lake RV Park and Campground. From there I crossed Joshua Tree NP on the main roads to the southern exit point to reach I-10 near Cottonwood Pass. One of the highlights of the day was the side trip to Keys View. From there great views into the Coachella Valley from the northern part of the Salton Sea to San Gorgonio Pass (and snow-capped mountains beyond) were enjoyed! :D Once I hit I-10 it was smooth sailing through Blythe, Phoenix, and home to Tucson. Interestingly, this was the first time I had been through Blythe since 1979! :o Guess I need to get out that way more often. :lol: This was a really fun trip to see lots of new places! :y:
