A weekend road trip and car camp with Cindy. Spent two nights at City of Rocks State Park located between Silver City and Deming. This is one of my favorites, and it served as base camp for our hike to Hillsboro Peak on Saturday. Following the hike, we drove down through Kingston and Hillsboro, then south through Lake Valley and on to Deming and back to City of Rocks. Sunday it was up along the Mimbres to Lake Roberts and back to Pinos Altos, Silver City and then home. Very scenic area with lots to do and an easy drive from Tucson.
