| no partners | | | Went for a morning hike through the Timberhill Natural Area and Chip Ross Park in northwest Corvallis. The trailhead at the end of NW 29th St is a short distance from our vacation rental townhouse. A beautiful day but too hazy for decent long distance scenery photos. The trail meanders through lush meadows in a mixed forest of oak and fir trees. When we arrived in Corvallis a week earlier the meadows were still green but had started turning a golden tan color in the more open spaces. Just as well, after living in AZ for a year I was suffering from a confusing state of green overload the first day of arrival. |
