Seemed longer than the above miles, but I defer to my hiking partner on such things. The trail indeed is sketchy around and past Taylor Pass, and we bushwacked on a steep manzanita filled slope which sort of wore me out.
Nice day though cloud filled, thunder, but no rain where we were, all around us though.
The stock ponds glittered below dotting the Sulphur Springs Valley as all were full.

Camped out at the "spot" near the TH, and had an awesome sunset.
I hiked Ash Creek the next morning.

And yes, I want to finish this trail, we turned around short of it, ran out of trail and energy. I think we were closer to over 11 miles, but that may be just because of all the elevation gain and loss on this trail, it was a buttkicker today.
