| no partners | | The trip start from apache jct. and go up 60 just past Boyce aboratorium on south side of road is a road called Perlite if you can go in the road and follow it as far as you can. Then follow trail past the beautiful creek or have lunch and then hike on up, you can go
Around boulders and follow trail staying to the right at the top on the left you can see a mining site and a great view of superior, but go right around the corner and the site is amazing. Going back to the boulders if you don't to go around the mountain there is a trail that goes to the site from there on the right by now apache tears are on the road. At the site you can just pluck them with a small hammer, out of the walls or there plenty on the ground. We hiked in from the main highway which is 60 just a little off the highway u will see a sign that says wagon wheel trail on the left or east side walk down that trail and veer right and imbedded in the rock is the wagon wheel tracks in the rock this is the trail wagons took to Tucson. |
