| partners | | | Pretty rough hike. Lots of steep ups and downs, and the flat parts were rocky. This hike reminded me of Arizona. I saw quite a few people over the first 3.5 miles, but nothing over the rest until right at the end. Did this one solo. I was surprised that there were so many redwoods down by the lake. The serpentine always looks amazing with how it has alternating rocky outcroppings, open dirt and chaparral. The dogs were definitely barking towards the end of this one. |
