I did the 17k course. It must be a mid life crisis. I can't afford a sports car so I sign up for events. I think there was a 50k, 26k, 17k, and a 9k. This was a tough one fore me.
Running with other people seem to make you keep trying. My thighs were feeling it when I got to Goldmine trail hill. On the way up my calves were locking up. Thank goodness going down the other side loosened them up enough to finish. :sweat: :stretch: :sweat: :D .
I saw Lou( met on Picket post)at the finish area. He had done the 9k. It seemed to be a good turn out. Great weather and nice people. :y:
