| no partners | | I did this hike to the Nordhoff-Hope Cliff Dwellings along with a hike to Coon Creek Ruins on the same day. To get to the Nordhoff-Hope ruins take 188 out of Globe to 288. Follow 288 to Cherry Creek Road (FR203). Follow FR 203 past the first water crossing up the hill to FR 203A. FR 203A leads too the Bull Canyon TH, but you'll want to park at a corral you will see .8 miles South of the TH. FR 203A is narrow, has a bit of exposure, and requires a high clearance vehicle at times, otherwise its pretty smooth. I had a 4WD. The TH and end of the road is 5.5 miles in. Once at the corral simply follow the fence line West until you pick up the trail to the ruins, only 3/4 of a mile in. If you happen to find a small pair of bushnell 8 x 25 binoculars I'd like them back  |
