On my extended overnight vehicle camping and hiking trips it is always a plus to have a campsite location that offers enjoyable hike exploration areas without needing to first drive somewhere. This Camp Grasshopper - Sierra Ancha-FR203/FR2812 location is one of those campsites :DANCE:

Having just completed two prior rewarding but demanding (blood giving : rambo :

) off-trail bushwhack days of hike exploration in this general area, and with another demanding day planned for the day after this one, our plan this day was to enjoy a leisurely hike exploration from Camp Grasshopper to intersect perennial Cherry Creek (only a .5 mile hike) and then explore a few miles UP Cherry Creek and back.
