| partners | | Hike #2 of 10 of our Spring 2014 Utah trip.
After tons of research prior to this trip I had mapped out all the well-known sites that we either visited last year or would visit this year. But I also spent plenty of time poring over the satellite images of The Comb, and whether it was actually a trail, a cow-path or simply a game-trail I followed every visible path to its conclusion. If there happened to be a south-facing cave/overhang at that terminus, I figured it would be a possible ruin site.
This hike was to visit one of the unknown/possible sites. Unfortunately the cave at the end of my GPS route for this hike turned out to be just that, a cave and nothing else. But we got a good view of the terrain around us which would help us over the next 3+ days.
