Good trail. Weekday in the rain and still saw some people.
We ventured offtrail to find the hidden falls. On the rainy return we took a straight up way back and surprised the buggers out of a group of trail hikers because just as one of them said "Careful here's a steep tricky part on the trail," I clawed my muddy way up and hefted my chest back on to the trail from the cliff right in front of them. They gasped and asked where did we come from. "You don't want to know." Noel waved to them with her non root holding hand below me when they peered over.
Headed over to triple in the rain, took some umbrella pics and finished the loop. Great last hike of the week. |
