| no partners | | Aimless wandering on South Mountain on a gorgeous afternoon. I'm not even sure if some of the trails I was on were official trails, but I knew I would eventually hook up with one of the main trails so I just kept on wandering until I reached the Mormon Loop. I took that and returned on the Ridgeline and Beverly Canyon trails, finishing just after dark. GPS quit on me on the north side of the Mormon Loop, so my posted route is incomplete.
I need to hike here more often. South Mountain is like a roller coaster ride. I can see why the mountain bikers like it so much. Had a great time.
