We wanted to take advantage of the spring weather and do a hike and grill some food afterwards. Decided up on Windcave being a good fit since the park has several covered picnic areas. We invited some people to join us and it was all good to go.

Having done this hike several times, nothing much new there other than the Bee hive up by the "cave" is getting rather large. We were hanging out there like normal and you would have your occasional Bee go by like normal as well. A few minutes later you could hear the buzzing of the bees get pretty loud. I looked up and could see a cloud of bees forming and decided it was time to head back down. After we were down past those small switchbacks right at the top I looked back up and the cloud of bees had continued to grow and was still getting louder. A lady had said someone tossed a rock at the Hive, but I did not see it.
