| no partners | | Counter-clockwise loop up Italianos Canyon #59 to the ridge, up Lobo Peak #57 and down Manzanita Canyon #58, road walk back to the car. Most of the hike is in beautiful lush forest, but the peak itself is just above treeline for excellent 360-degree views. Wonderful!
There are four roughly parallel trails in this area that climb from Highway 150 to the ridgeline, but the trailheads aren't particularly well signed. They are located at the following approximate mile marks:
