| no partners | | A couple of friends and I took this hike but we started on the upper end at Three Forks. We only went about three miles down and then turned around and hiked back out.(6miles total)I think we will do it again in the fall and drop a car off at the campground so will have a ride back. There is not much of a trail so we just made sure to follow the river. This is beautiful country although I think the west fork last month had a little more greenery. The east fork did seem to have more of a wild feel to it.I was very excited to see Bighorn Sheep in the wild for the first time.We also saw an Elk climb the side of a mountain I never thought one could climb.
Great friends, the great outdoors and a safe trip. What more could you ask for? |
