| no partners | | I did this hike with a couple of great friends. We parked one car at Three Forks and drove down to Diamond Rock Campground to start the hike. I read that it was 5 miles but it seemed longer. The trail comes and goes. The bushes are thick in places and you have to rock hop now and then. There are plenty of places to get wet but nothing big enough to jump in or swim. I think we only had to cross 3or4 times. I did slip but only got wet to the bottom of my shorts. Shorts might not be the best choice as I did get some scratches in the thick stuff. We saw a few people in the campground but that was it. They have about 10 camp spots and there were a few of them open. I only saw one outhouse and that was in the middle by the camp host. This was a nice adventure and some awesome country. |
