| no partners | | | Finally able to fly! Up early and the sky was clear. We set up at the community center and took off. The first hop was to the west, almost to Comb Ridge Coffee. The balloon went back to the east for the second hop, back to the community center. From there the third hop went over towards Twin Rocks and set down next to the highway. Bryan was able to get me aboard then for the fourth hop. We flew east along (and above) the cliffs past Cow Canyon, almost to the mission, and then back to the west. We set down in a field and changed passengers again. The fifth hop landed back in the community center parking lot. Perfect day for flying. |
