| no partners | | If you're in the Riggs Lake area of the Pinaleno Mountains and come upon this trail sign next to the road, you might be curious as to where it goes. It drops down Nuttall Ridge into Hells Hole. It looks like a cool hike on the map. But the Nuttall Fire and incredible regrowth have pretty much obliterated this trail.
I got tired of wading through waist high raspberry and locust bushes, while trying to find where the next tree blaze or piece of faded pink tape was, so I gave up. Maybe the lower end of this trail might be worth a try, but the upper end is frustrating.  |
