| no partners | | | We hadn't been to Paradise in a while and the weather looked too good to pass up. Great day on the mountain. We hiked almost all the way to Panorama Point. We used our snowshoes the entire time but we saw people with all kinds of gear -- snowboards, skis, tennis shoes, sandals, etc. We started just after 10 and conditions were already a little slushy. Down near Paradise at the end of our hike it was a total slush fest. Bright sun and blue skies made for a great day. Even saw a couple marmots having a nice little rumble while a third looked on. Mt. Adams and Mt. St Helens were clear clearly visible as well. |
